Busy Bee!

So once again it has been absolutely forever since I wrote, and once again, I'm very sorry! The past few weeks have been crazy! I got a new job, which started off all the crazyness. I did a first interview on Monday the 21st of September, 2 hours after I got home, I was called to come in for a second interview the next dat. And so I went for the second interview and just after I got home from that they offered me the job! And I started on Thursday the 24th! It was insane! And since then I've been so busy and so tired that I sadly neglected my little blog!
So since I have been so busy, I haven't really had too much time to shop, but of course I bought myself just a little congratulations treat for getting this job! How could I not?! So I took myself to MAC and I picked up the beloved repromote of Feline Kohl Power! And I love it, its so creamy and the most gorgeous black ever. When my last Feline ran out, I was so sad, and getting a new one just about made my day! And if you weren't lucky enough to pick it up with the DSquared2 collection, fear not! It is being released again in December, the 26th to be exact, with the Love Lace Collection! And if you're like me and love the texture of the Kohl Power formulation, you'll be glad to know that two more shades, Raven and Sense of Style, are coming out at the same time. And I'm sure you all know and love www.temptalia.com, but if you don't know about it, please go check it out, you will love it! So much info, great reviews and tips...its a girly paradise in blog form! I've been drooling over all the new holiday collections from so many brands! And MAC Holiday 2009 is on top of my wishlist right now!
When I was at MAC scooping up my coveted Feline, I also decided to go ahead and pick up the 219 brush, which I have been wanting forever and ever. I haven't had the chance to use it just yet, but I'm excited to try it out!
So what collections are you looking forward to? Do the MAC upcoming MAC collections tickle your fancy? Do you own a 219 brush? Love it? Hate it? Let me know!

Candles!

So I've got another new love: candles! I've always thought they were pretty and everything, but I never really got into them too much. Lately though, I've been candle crazy! I'm really loving the Slatkin & Co. candles from Bath and Body works, actually. My boyfriend and I have picked up a few scents from them and I'm loving the way they smell! We have Pineapple Mango, Caribbean Salsa, Orange Nectar, Coconut Lime Verbena, Cucumber Melon, and our newest additions, Spiced Cider and Kitchen Spice.
I love all of the scents, they really do smell quite strongly, not like some other candles I've seen with barely any scent at all. I do have one issue though. All of the lighter colored candle waxes seem to burn perfectly, nice and even and all the way to the edges. However, the candles with darker waxes, and particularly brownish or orangey colors, don't melt nearly as nicely. They are much more uneven and look a little lumpy after they re-harden.
All in all, I will keep buying the Slatkin & Co., candles, no matter what color the wax. Maybe its just been a coincidence, but either way, they smell so good its definitely worth it. They get my stamp of approval, and are totally recommended!
Let me know what kind of candles you like! Help me feed the obsession! And stay gorgeous everyone!

Sunday Chat!

Happy Sunday everyone! I love Sundays, and lately they've been even better. Its been unseasonably hot here, and I'm loving it! The weather is supposed to stay at mid-July type temperatures right through the month and I'm just thrilled!
Now, I haven't done really any shopping since my last post, but I did have an experience that I thought warranted a bit of blogging. As we all know, I adore Lush. I rarely ever find a product there that I don't enjoy using. However, a couple of days ago I went to use a particular item I had bought, and I had a bit of an issue with it. I'm not really going to go into exactly the issue with the item, but suffice it to say that I didn't feel it was usable. I was of course sad, because Lush is not cheap by any means, so I decided to take a bit of action and let the company know that I was disappointed in a product.
Let me tell you, the customer service I got from the CSR that contacted me back after I emailed them was FABULOUS. I really couldn't have asked for a better response from them; they replied crazy fast and were completely helpful and fantastic about the whole thing. I think its getting rarer and rarer to find a company that really does go that extra bit further for their customers and I feel that Lush definitely did that for me. I will definitely continue buying from them, and I recommend Lush so highly to everyone!
Well, that is all I really had to say this time. I`m off to bake some pumpkin cookies (yum) and watch a bit of True Blood! Enjoy your Sunday evening and stay gorgeous everyone!

An Alarming Sight!

So last night, I was going about my business as usual, doing my whole makeup removing, cleansing, toning, blah blah blah routine. And that is when I saw it! Or at least I'm pretty sure I did. My boyfriend says I'm imagining things, but nonetheless, I think I saw it and that is what matters. Under eye wrinkling? Really? But I'm only 25! And I take good care of my skin, at least in my opinion. I never EVER no matter how much I sometimes want to, go to sleep wearing makeup. I use toner, and I moisturize and use sunscreen. But here we are. Now maybe it wasn't really wrinkling. Maybe it was the light, or a weird smudge of mascara, but it was still something and that is why I am writing this. I think it may be time for me to start using an eye cream. And I'm hopelessly lost! I need your help! Please please pretty please write in the comments, and let me know your favorites, and why you like them! Thanks everyone, and stay gorgeous!

Oops...

Oh my GOODNESS! It has been absolutely forever since I've written here, and honestly, I've really missed it! I do love making these posts, even if its only for my own benefit. Anyway, a little bit has happened in the last couple of weeks, including just a little bit of shopping, of course! I can't really remember exactly the order in which I bought things, but that's OK, right? Right!
So its been beautiful and summery these past couple of weeks, and that it at the very least part of the reason I've been so MIA. I'm desperately grasping on to every last scrap of summer that I can! Where I live, winters can be insanely unforgiving, and I am definitely not looking forward to it. I always try to keep summer in my head though, even all through winter and one way I do that is by wearing skirts! Skirts and dresses, rather than jeans, are my version of everyday wear. I am not at all the type of girl to save skirts for "dressing up". I think every day is a day to dress up for! And I took advantage of summer again and picked up a couple more skirts! First off I got a cute plain black box-pleated skirt from H&M. Its really quite nice, a bit of a heavier cotton so I can avoid that embarrassing wind-catching-skirt phenomenon. I love the skirt because it is super versatile and I can dress it down a bit with an embellished tee, or make it a bit more formal with relative ease. The second skirt I got was from Club Monaco, and its a really nice flowy white cotton skirt that I got on sale for an amazing $19 down from $140! I love getting great pieces at great prices! I picked up a few other odds and ends in the clothing department as well, pretty much just a bit of lingerie and some plain tank tops for layering though, nothing too exciting. Now on to beauty stuff!
I sadly missed out on the Blonde Brunette Redhead collection from MAC, and I was pretty disappointed that I hadn't gotten my hands on a few of the things from that release. One of those things I wanted but didn't get was Henna eyeshadow, and I was recently lucky enough to come across it! It is a gorgeous dark gold color and I am loving it! I don't have Sumptuous Olive, which I have heard this can be compared to so I'm not completely sure how similar they are, but I can definitely say that Henna is just beautiful I'm really looking forward to playing around with it some more!
As for the Makeup Art Cosmetics collection, I only picked up one thing. I had wanted a few other things, including the purple quad, but when I swatched those colors I really wasn't feeling their pigmentation. But that is ok, because the item I did purchase I am in love with! I got the Artistic License technakohl liner, the bright blue one. It is so pretty! I have been using it to line my lower lash line when I have a pretty, neutral look on the rest of my eye. It really makes the eyes pop, and its a fun little unexpected way to play with color! One more thing I wanted and wasn't lucky enough to get was actually one of the promo images! The Marilyn Minter one to be exact, the closeup of the messy, glittery purple eye. I think that is just such an amazing photo and I would love to have it to hang on my wall!
Other than a new Studio Fix powder, that's all I've gotten from MAC in the last little bit. Of course I can't ever resist popping in there when I'm near a location, so we'll see how long that lasts. I have picked up a few other things from a few other places though. I've recently started loving the Sephora by OPI nail polishes. I've had Metro Chic for a while now, and really love it, so when I heard they were coming out with a matte version, I was so excited. I really love the matte nail trend and I'm really looking forward to picking up some more matte colors. I did pick up the matte Metro Chic, along with the color Under My Trench Coat, which is a traditional color, not a matte. I really do love the matte version of Metro Chic, I think it looks really amazing, and it seems to dry really fast which of course is fantastic. I've still got to try Under My Trench Coat, but I have a feeling that I'm going to like it a lot! On my nail polish want list is definitely a couple of OPI's other matte-version polishes as well, especially the matte Lincoln Park After Dark, which I bet is gorgeous. I wish I could find the Essie Matte About You mattefying top coat, but I still haven't found it anywhere. I'm wondering if maybe it just isn't available in Canada yet? Sad!
As with nearly every other post here, I've also been in to Lush recently. I think I have a problem, I'm a bit of an addict. This time I picked up a Melting Marshmallow Moments bath melt (love!) and a lovely, wobbly blob of Sweetie Pie shower jelly. I love the shower jellies, they're so fun! And they smell really nice. Sweetie Pie smells sort of fruity and cherry-ish, and its really lovely. The jellies don't seem to dry out my skin either, which is really great since one or two Lush soaps have dried my skin out a bit in the past. The last thing I picked up at Lush was actually a wrapped gift for a friend. The Bunty gift is just so cute and it has such great-smelling bath bombs and bubble bars. So girly and I really do think its a great gift choice.
Those, I think, are all of the exciting things I've picked up over the last little while. I've been really taking advantage of summer, but I've missed writing here, so I'm definitely going to do my best to do so on a more regular basis! How about you? Have you been enjoying the summer? Have you tried out any great products? Let me know when you've been doing, and what products you've been loving! Oh, and I've been trying to figure out what foundation to try out for fall and winter. I want something a bit more moisturizing, and any tips or recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! And stay gorgeous!

New Brush Love!

So yesterday my boyfriend and I had a great day. We went out for a fantastic lunch, went and saw the movie District 9 - which was incredible and totally not what I had been expecting - and since we were at the mall anyway, I decided to do a little bit of browsing in a few favorite stores!
Of course we went to MAC, just to take a look. I didn't get anything since I'm waiting for Thursday and the Make Up Art Cosmetics collection release. But I still had to go in, and look around, and lust after the 182 kabuki brush. I have been wanting that brush soooo bad! Ever since I saw it I knew it would be perfect for applying my Studio Fix Powder foundation. The only problem is that spending $55.00 on a brush would make me feel so guilty. $55.00 on one brush when I could spend the same on four eyeshadows? I don't know if I could do it!
So after leaving MAC empty handed we headed on over to Sephora, where they were STILL out of Deep Throat blush. Disappointing, but I'm still going to keep trying! We went over to Lush next, and smelled a few soaps and things, and ended up picking up an Avobath bath bomb for Adam, a couple Butterballs for me, and an Each Peach massage bar for both of us!
I was still a bit sad about leaving behind my beloved 182, but I decided to go to the drugstore and take a peek at a few things anyway, before heading home. I wanted to look for the new mattefying top coat from Essie, but I didn't see any. What I did see though, was a display of Ecotools brushes. I'd heard good things about them, so I decided to take a look. And when I did, I saw the cutest kabuki brush. The Ecotools Retractable Kabuki to be exact.
OMG. It is so soft! I had to get it! And the best part? It cost a fifth of what the 182 from MAC costs! I took it out as soon as I got home to try it, and I am in LOVE! Its dense, and soft, and I feel like it picks up the right amount of product. I got great coverage and I was able to buff out my foundation to the perfect airbrushed look. I will definitely be buying a backup or two of this brush, as well as recommending it to friends! I'll probably end up trying more Ecotools brushes as well! All in all, a very successful day!
What brushes do you love? Any that you didn't expect to love? Also, has anyone else seen District 9? Let me know, and stay gorgeous everyone!

Surprise vacation!

Hi! Its been forever since I posted, and I missed it! First I got sick (boo strep throat!) and then my boyfriend and I went away for a few days. We went to the mountains and Lake Louise and some other crazy gorgeous places, and it was a total sneaky surprise that he planned! I loved it and I definitely miss being there. I don't think I've ever seen anything so gorgeous...the water was this amazing blue, and the hotel was fabulous and it was a well needed rest!
And now I'm back home and back to work and only a few days away from the Make Up Art Cosmetics collection from MAC! I'm definitely picking up the Photo Realism quad, a jar of Cocomotion, a couple of lipsticks and a liner or two! And maybe more, we shall have to wait and see. And when I do pick up my goodies, I will of course let you know what they are :-) What are your cravings, if any, from the new collection? Definitely let me know!
I've been feeling like doing some more clothes shopping lately as well. I'm really really picky about my clothes, I never wear pants or jeans, unless it is 100% absolutely unavoidable, even if its blizzarding out. Actually I don't even own a pair of jeans right now. I really prefer skirts and dresses and cutesy things like that and so I think I may need to hit up Anthropologie or something pretty soon! Hopefully I can turn my MAC shopping day in a week or so into a clothing day too? I hope so!
So let me know what you guys are craving or loving right now, and stay gorgeous everybody

Mini MAC Haul!

So today I was at the mall to help pick out a dress for a friend who is going to a wedding this weekend, and of course I couldn't resist a little MAC side trip. I hadn't really had much interest in the Naked Honey collection when it first came out, but for some reason when I walked into the store I really wanted to take a look! I thought the powders were really pretty, with their honeycomb pattern and everything, but the really didn't work with my skin, and I'm not really a big powder person anyway. But I also swatched the three shadows, and I REALLY liked them! I wasn't expecting to either, but lo and behold, they were really quite pretty. So of course I couldn't just get one or two because the others would feel all left out, and in the end I went home with Buckwheat, Pollinator and Creme de Miel. I haven't played around with them too much yet, but I'm probably going to try to create a look or two tomorrow and I'm really excited about it!
I didn't really need to pick up those shadows, but I felt like I deserved a bit of a treat today. My best friend is moving all the way across the country tomorrow, so I've been a bit down, and there is nothing like a little shopping and new makeup to help cheer me up! But now my intention is to try and save up a bit for some of the new collections coming out in the next few months. We'll see how that goes.... Stay gorgeous everyone!

Sunday Shopping Adventure

I love Sundays! I feel so guilt-free waking up as late as possible. And today we really did wake up nice and late! And after some coffee and wake up time, we headed out to do a bit of shopping! Finally! The mall had been calling my name for a little while and it felt good to browse and pick out a few things!
First off we hit up the bookstore since Adam had a gift card that he got for his birthday. I love bookstores. Even if I don't end up buying anything I still love to browse and take my time - there is just something so relaxing about it for me. He ended up picking out a couple of books, and I got the new issue of Vogue, which I plan on enjoying in a nice bath after I've finished up writing this.
Speaking of baths, we also hit up Lush for some yummy-smelling goodies. I've found that it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to walk past a Lush without going in and buying at least a little something./ Today I picked up a big new bottle of Tea Tree Water toner, which you know I love. I was running out and I need a bottle to throw in the fridge. Its been crazy hot here and its such a good way to beat the heat! I also grabbed a couple Butterball bath bombs and a Comforter bubble bar to replenish my stash...I plan on tossing a Butterball in my bath in just a little while. Its definitely my favorite bath bomb. It smells great and I find the cocoa butter super moisturising and luxurious.
After Lush we headed over to Sephora. I wanted to pick up Deep Throat blush from NARS, but they were out. I was pretty disappointed but of course I just kept on looking around. I wound up picking out Metro Chic nail polish from Sephora by OPI. I love this colour, and I'm looking forward to putting it on my nails. Its a dirty purplish/grey/brown colour and I think its just so pretty. It sort of reminds me of Love & Friendship from MAC actually. If I have time tonight I might try it out. I also picked up some makeup remover wipes while I was there, but that is sort of boring. The last thing I got at Sephora was a mini size bottle of Vanille Coco perfume from Comptoir Sud Pacifique. I loooove their perfumes, I have the Vanille Abricot and Vanille Banane as well, and I've definitely bought more than one. They smell amazing to me, sort of candy-ish. You definitely need to love sweet smells to enjoy these I think. And of course perfumes all smell different on different people. Even though the Comptoir Sud Pacifique scents are so sweet, after a few minutes on my skin they have a bit deeper, warmer tone that I love. I get tons of compliments on these scents, and my boyfriend adores them, which is always a plus!
After Sephora I went over to MAC to check out the Love That Look collection. Some of the shadows were really pretty, but I didn't see anything that I felt like I absolutely need. I'm OK with that though because so many collections are coming out in the next little while and I'm excited to see those ones too!
So that was my shopping day! I picked up a few more boring things, like new towels (pink though!), and after that we headed home for a blueberry-pancake dinner and some relaxing. And now I'm going to continue relaxing with a luscious Lush bath! Have a great night, and stay gorgeous!

Summer Fun

As I said before, the weather has sbeen pretty fantastic here lately. Except for Saturday night... that night we had an INSANE storm. There was huge hail, super crazy winds and so much rain in a tiny space of time that the parking lot at my apartment building flooded. Even though the storm was sort of scary, it was actually pretty cool at the same time. Because of the way the wind was blowing, the blacony of our apartment was totally dry even though it was pouring down outside, and by boyfriend and I were able to stand on our balcony and watch the sky light up purple with constant lightning!
Since the crazy storm, it has been HOT outside. The crazy heat, combined with longish work days and then evenings spent attending fun festivals and things with friends has left me pretty exhausted, and its not even close to over! Tomorrow after work, my boyfriend and I are heading to the fair, which I'm really excited about. There is a butterfly exhibit there with tons of pretty butterflies and I think that is going to be fun. And then Friday we're heading to my parents' house for a family barbecue.
Due to all of the other excitement going on, I actually haven't had much of a chance to shop! I did get my Smooth Merge MSF in the mail, and I do really love it. The darkest pink stripe works wonderfully as a blush on me, and all three swirled together actually works as blush too. The two lighter shades work great as cheek and brow highlighters as well. I'm hoping to get out and do a bit more shopping this weekend, I was walking through the mall to get to my bank today and I spotted a couple of very cute tops with bows on them when I peeked into a few store windows., So I think very soon I might have a little more haul action to talk about!
And now I'm off to cool off with a bowl of frozen raspberries! Have a great night, and stay gorgeous everyone!

TGIF!

Wow, what a week! I started work on Wednesday, and its been going pretty well. The days are pretty busy, which is good I think. Its nice to have lots to do, I feel like it makes the day fly by. Everyone in my new office seems really nice as well, and totally willing to help me out if I have any questions, which of course I do, being all brand new and such. All in all though, I think I'm going to like it there!
The weather has also become GORGEOUS in the last couple of days, which is perfect because there are some great outdoor festivals starting up this weekend. And the fair! I'm so excited for lots of fun summery things to do!
I got my Smooth Merge MSF in the mail today, and I'm super glad I picked it up. Its really gorgeous and the three stripes of colour look like they would work individually as well as all swirled together. I've also been looking online at the upcoming MAC collections and I am really looking forward to Feline Kohl Power liner being repromoted with the DSquared collection in October. I'm actually looking forward to seeing more photos from DSquared as well...I love them as designers and I'm wondering if maybe the packaging will be superadorable. The Make Up Art Cosmetics collection looks really interesting to me as well. I love sneak peeks of upcoming collections...it helps me build my wishlist!
And now its time for me to get ready, since my boyfriend and I are going out to meet some friends for drinks. Yay Friday! Have a good weekend, and stay gorgeous everyone!

A little shopping and some nervousness!

So tomorrow I start a brand new job, and it feels just like the first day of school. And of course the first day of school calls for a new outfit! My boyfriend and I decided to take a walk to make sure I know exactly where my new office is tomorrow morning, and it just so happens that there is a mall on the way, so of course I had to stop in. I picked up a super cute black pencil skirt, a couple of black button-down tops and some pretty, colourful tanks to layer underneath. I love to wear a lot of black and white and then add pops of colour here and there. Except for dresses...I love bright, jewel tone dresses for some reason. I think brighter colours say "special occasion" to me, and my more day to day clothes are a bit more neutral.
After my little shopping detour, we found my new building with no problems at all, and I'm just so excited to start. I'm working on the 20th floor of a tall, pretty building right downtown, and I'm right across the street from a mall, which could end up being dangerous for my bank account. I'm definitely a bit nervous to start at a new place, but I think it could end up being very fun. And I'm never one to turn down any opportunity for new work clothes!
So now I'm going to go play with putting together outfits and shoes and trying out work makeup looks. And hopefully I'm not up all night with silly nerves! Stay gorgeous everyone!

What a lovely day!

Today turned out to be way better than I thought it would! I knew it would be fun since I was planning on meeting up with my sister, but it got even better! First of all, I got a call letting me know that I got a new job I was hoping for, which made me SO happy! And after that, it turned out that my sister needed to meet up a little later, dinner instead of lunch, and that she wanted to stop by MAC first! So I ended up back at my favorite place, and of course I had to buy myself a little reward for the new job! I ended up picking up Hand-Finish blush from the Colour Craft collection, and I really love it. Its a really pretty, pale pink with gorgeous gold running thorugh it, and it works really nicely on my pale, pale skin. I think girls with darker complexions would probably want to go with one of the more pigmented options, but for me, it works really nicely!

Now I'm just super super excited about starting work on Wednesday! Well, and a bit nervous. New jobs have a very "first day of school" type of feeling for me, excited and apprehensive at the same time. More excited really. Plus it means picking out cute work outfits! Gotta make a great impression!

And now I'm off to play with all the makeup I've picked up over the past week! Stay gorgeous everyone!

Update!

OK, so I thought I would really really quickly update. I just ordered the Smooth Merge MSF from MAC! I'm so excited for it to get here. I know I have four or so MAC stores that I go to all the time, so I could very easily have just gone to the mall and picked it up, but I am a HUGE sucker for getting things in the mail, plus there was free shipping. So I'm so happy, and maybe now I can try and go to bed without agonizing over my choice!
<3<3Stay gorgeous everyone!

I love lazy Sundays...

Sunday is a great day for relaxing, not going anywhere, and being all cozy at home. And today was especially good for that since it was a bit gloomy out anyway. So I stayed in with my boyfriend, slept suuuper late and looked at the MAC website way too much. And now I'm torn. When I went to MAC the other day, I looked at the Colour Craft collection and just had to walk away! The MSFs and blushes were all way too pretty and I got a little overwhelmed. And today I have been staring at the website and trying hard to make a decision. I'm thinking I would really like either Triple Fusion or Smooth Merge to use as a blush, since I'm super super pale. Hmmm, decisions decisions! Also I've never really used any of the MSFs before and I'm really interested in trying them out. I'm going to have to plant a money tree I think!
In other news, I also tried out a new LUSH soap this morning. Not a new soap for Lush, but new for me, anyway. I tried out Sexy Peel soap, since I bought a nice big chunk of it just the other day. I sliced off a piece that seemed big enough for three or four showers and just kept the rest wrapped up to keep it nice and fresh. Wow, this soap is citrusy! I loved the smell of it in the store which is obviously why I bought it, and the lemony-limey scent was a great big whoosh of wake-up goodness. This is definitely a good morning soap, since its so bright-smelling, and I think its one of the cheaper LUSH soaps as well, I think it was about $5.25/100g (Canadian dollars). I'm really glad I got such a big piece since this is a new favorite around my house! I didn't find it to be as drying as Porridge soap, which I love the smell of, but I can't really use since it dries my skin out too much. Maybe LUSH should make more things that have the Porridge scent (hint hint!).
Mmm, I think that is all my news for today. Hopefully I get to meet up with my sister for lunch tomorrow which should be fun, but other than that I think I'm off to the MAC website to ponder some more! Goodnight and stay gorgeous everyone!

LUSH Love

You know what I love? I love the Tea Tree Water toner from Lush. It just feel soooo good, its so refreshing! And I love the smell, too. A lot of people I know really don't like the scent of tea tree oil, but I've always loved it. I had something from Bumble and bumble with tea tree oil in it too, I think it was like, the prep lotion or something like that, and it smelled so good I feel like I would even wear that scent as a perfume.
But yeah, Lush I love so many things from there, and even though I know its pretty pricey I think once in a while it is SO worth it to splurge on a few of their things, especially the bath bombs and the bubble bars. There is NOTHING like a relaxing, good smelling, girly bath when you're feeling a little bit sad or when its that time of the month. Their stuff smells so good that even my boyfriend has been known to relax in the bath with some of them, and not just the "masculine" ones ;-)
Other than loving my new Lush purchases, I'm just not feeling all that well today. But that is ok, I might just have to run a nice hot bath and throw in a bath bomb! Stay gorgeous everyone!

Hello world!

Wow, ok. So this is my first blog ever, and I really have no idea what I'm doing yet. That is just fine though, because I know its going to be tons of fun! I love reading other people's blogs, especially ones about beauty, fashion, makeup and all that girly stuff. So I figured, why not try it out myself? My plan is to just talk about my shopping excursions, things I'm loving, and things at the top of my want list. I think all the gorgeous goodies out there, like pretty lipglosses or shoes, are some of the best things about being a girl!

So lets jump right into it then! Today was fun for sure, in a very makeup related way. I've just recently gotten really into MAC makeup. I've always liked using their products, but in the last maybe 4 months, I've become one of those girls who crave and covet and wait impatiently for collections to come out. Probably around the same time was when I stumbled across the amazing beauty community on Youtube! I love so many of those girls, and they are all so gorgeous!
So anyway, today my boyfriend and I went to MAC and I was treated to a mini shopping spree! I picked out five eyeshadows (Satin Taupe, All That Glitters, Mulch, Espresso and Amber Lights in case you were curious), a Paint Pot in Rubenesque (gorgeous!!) and the 226 brush, which I have been excited to pick up since I heard it was being repromoted with Colour Craft!
I absolutely love the girls at the MAC store I go to the most often and I think it is such a great thing to have really helpful people in cosmetics stores. And they're totally honest, which is awesome too. I'd much rather have someone tell me that a foundation makes me look too orangey than to have them let me just pick it myself and wander out looking like an Ooompa Loompa!

Anyway, that is all for now, just a little bit of post-shopping day happiness! But I'm excited for when I update next! Stay gorgeous everyone!
